We are a group of five Ethiopian women who have diverse backgrounds and expertise in law, gender, sociology, public health, economics, and development. With extensive experience working in Ethiopia, we came together as colleagues when serving as an advisory team to the Minister of Women, Children, and Youth. During this time, we not only formed a strong and supportive working relationship but also developed a deep friendship.
Prior to officially registering in July 2019, we collaborated as a think tank, focusing on women's rights issues in Ethiopia. Through our collective knowledge and shared passion, we recognized the power and potential we possessed to bring about positive change in the lives of Ethiopian women. We firmly believe that by working together, we can make a meaningful difference and contribute to the advancement of women's rights in our country. Our shared vision and commitment drive us to address the challenges faced by Ethiopian women and strive for a more equitable and inclusive society.
